Proudly Serving Highland Park, New Jersey Since 1899.

The Highland Park Volunteer Fire Department (HPVFD) was established in 1899 and protects life and property from fire and other disasters 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Firefighters respond to an average 500 calls per year, supply all fire suppression for the borough and aid neighboring towns in major emergencies.

The members also assist at motor vehicle accidents, water emergencies, sites with downed electrical wires and community fire prevention activities. The fire department is managed by volunteer officers and firefighters who depend on support from the citizens of Highland Park.
