Highland Park Volunteer Fire Department assisted Piscataway’s River Road & Holmes Marshall Fire Companies earlier this week at the Rutgers Homecoming Kickoff Bonfire & Pep Rally. The firefighters kept an eye on the fire, enjoyed the festive atmosphere and helped extinguish the bonfire at the conclusion of the event.
